rhona and islas pottery and tea room

My uncle Davie moved up to Knoydart years ago now,  if he hadn't I would have perhaps never have stumbled upon a such a beautiful part of Scotland.  I would encourage anyone who gets the chance to visit the peninsula of Knoydart (you have to jump on a boat from Mallaig to get there unless you want to take 3 days to walk in that is).

Anyway what Iā€™m trying to get at is the lovely little pottery and tearoom that exists here and has done for 2 or so years now (correct me if I am wrong).  It is owned and run by sisters Rhona and Isla Miller who both went to study pottery in Glasgow and decided to set up their own business selling and making the pottery on the premises along with running the tearoom. With a brilliant atmosphere I would say it's up there as my favourite little cafe, much to do with their awesome vintage couches, friendliness and tasty treats along with selling their own pottery, jewellery and other designers work such as scarves, gloves, cuffs amongst others things.  When I asked them about stocking some of my work Isla and Rhona gladly agreed to have a few of my accessories for sale in their tearoom as long as I mention them when I am famous.... I have not quite got that far yet but I thought they deserved a mention anyway!  Oh and did I say they also have an ice cream machine and a pedalo? fantastic. x

Below is a selection of a few of my handmade purses and broochs that are currently for sale in the tearoom.
