the time has come

to throw these nasty's out.
Let's face it, you know it has went too far when you are walking (or flopping rather) around Glasgow desperately seeking an elastic band or any object that will possibly hold your shoe together for a few more hours.  I even ended up in a predicament involving a police man trying to pull off my sole!  Some sight I assume.  I don't think shoes should involve these kind of scenarios therefore the shoes a got to go!  And since I was in Glasgow to see Bob Dylan when the fiasco happed I’ll leave you with a few of his lines which I thought were quite fitting (I’ve not changed any of the lyrics, honest).

You say you're lookin' for a shoe
Never weak but always strong,
To protect you an' defend you
Whether you are right or wrong,
Someone to open each and every door,
But it ain't me, babe,
No, no, no, it ain't me, babe,
It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe.
(Bob Dylan - It Ain't me, Babe)
