This is a photo shoot I worked on for inclusion in a magazine which is part of my coursework(you will have to imagine it as magazine spreads!) I wanted to capture the violence and foolishness involved in football hooliganism, so I tried...let me know what you think.
The general image of hooligan groups changed after police started to crack down on people wearing typical skinhead style dress. Therefore the concept behind this shoot was basically a play on the whole branding thing that football hooligans are now associated with.
Brands like Stone Island, Burberry, Fred Perry, Le Coq Sportif, Aquascutum, Burberry, Lacoste, Timberland and Ben Sherman have all been popular with British hooligan groups. These clothes give people a status the idea behind was to rebrand them as a MUG then destroy their own dress in a pointless act of violence.
